Can Personal Wealth Be Found Online?
(c) 2008, Karrie Emms
Many people are seeking personal wealth by looking for, ‘create wealth online’ programs. But many of these wealth-building programs are gimmicks and actually contribute little to the effort someone exerts when attempting to build instant financial success. The problem is how does the average person tell the difference between legitimate work at home programs and those that promise unreasonable or unachievable financial gains.
There is a general desire in the world today to make a six-figure income and to do it fast, but with the economy slipping and companies cutting back the typical office job is quickly disappearing. Due to this shift in paradigms many people who once worked office jobs or jobs outside the home in any capacity are looking to the Internet for either a steady income or a supplementary one.
The main problem with ‘get rich quick’ schemes rests in the organization of the program. Often the only people to generate great personal wealth are the people who created the program and possibly those who get involved with it in the early stages. This happens because the person who created the wealth-building program meets little to no resistance from his or her recruits. The people he or she recruits likely hear about the program first hand and there is little to no feedback generated yet. People easily get caught up in the prospect of building instant wealth and the excitement exhibited by the person doing the marketing.
There are some indications people can look for when deciding whether a work-at-home opportunity is right for them and whether it is a legitimate work-at-home opportunity. The first thing to consider is the cost to enroll. Often work-at-home opportunities come with wonderful trial rates or discounted enrollment fees. The problem is, these fees are usually for a trial period or some form of e-book that holds all of the secrets to ultimate wealth. Beware, these often contain links to other pay sites or information that can easily be found on the Internet.
While there may be some legitimate personal wealth building opportunities on the web, it is important to research each one diligently. Do not make an impulse buy. Ask questions and contact the program prior to buying because many do not offer refunds. And while it is possible to make a great deal of money online, in the end the old adage stands, ‘if it sounds too good to be true it probably is’.
